Yes. Decidel is free to download and use. Core features like browsing stories, reading comments, searching, and customizing themes are all free. Decidel Pro unlocks advanced features like unlimited AI summaries, custom topic filters, and offline bundles.

Yes. To use AI summaries, you provide your own API key from a supported provider. This means you control your data and costs directly. The app works fully without AI features if you prefer.

Decidel supports OpenAI (GPT models), Anthropic (Claude models), Google Gemini, and Groq. You can switch between providers at any time in Settings.

Decidel has no backend servers. Your API keys are stored locally in the iOS Keychain and never leave your device except to authenticate with your chosen AI provider. We collect no analytics, tracking, or personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Smart Mute uses AI-powered semantic filtering to hide stories matching topics you don't want to see. Choose from built-in filters like Crypto and Politics, or create your own custom filters. Toggle the master switch to enable or disable filtering.

Decidel Pro unlocks unlimited AI summaries, custom topic filters, offline reading bundles, saved searches, and advanced export to Markdown, Notion, and Obsidian.

Yes. Decidel Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple. Cancel anytime by going to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period.

Open Decidel, go to Settings > Decidel Pro, and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Check that your API key is entered correctly in Settings > AI Provider. Make sure you have an active internet connection and sufficient credit with your AI provider. Try switching to a different provider to isolate the issue.
